Farewell, African Cultural Week

As the dust begins to settle on the whirlwind adventure that was African Cultural Week, we begin the process of reflecting on the past and preparing for the future. We experienced many joys and successes this week, with as many learning and growth opportunities.

To all of our friends and volunteers, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!

Words can’t express our deep appreciation for the artists with whom we had the pleasure of working with this week: Merlin Nyakam, Amara Kanté, Salif Sanou, Akra Soumah, Sabur Abdulai, Jacky Éssombé, Yoro Noukoussi, Kikeyambay, and Jordan Hanson. It was an honour to be able to work with all of you and we thank you for their patience, love, support and inspiration. A très bientot!

If you missed out on your chance to witness these world-class artists live, don’t worry, because we have some exciting news:

African & Caribbean Spirit Night

That’s right friends, Spirit Night will be back by popular demand! our Spirit Night will have a African and Caribbeantheme featuring some of our (her) favourite island foods and a local DJ playing music that is guaranteed to make you feel irie!

We can’t wait to see you! Walk good!

One love,
